1Mobility software (“software”) licensed by 1Mobility Pte. Ltd. or its subsidiaries (“1Mobility”) provides Enterprise Mobility Management that comprises of mobile device management (MDM) and eco-system around enterprise mobility to manage mobile devices and corporate data on the devices. The solution consists of two elements: (1) the 1Mobility Administrator’s Console which allows administrators to manage communication with smartphones or tablets to be managed and (2) a mobile App, typically referred as “agent” that facilitates communication of mobile device with the 1Mobility Console licensed by our customers. The privacy considerations for customers who license the 1Mobility software to manage mobile devices (“Customers”) and the privacy considerations for those whose mobile devices are being monitored (“End User”) are discussed in this Policy.
We only collect private information that customers voluntarily provide to us or that is necessary to fully service your 1Mobility account. We request customers to provide information that is needed in order to create your 1Mobility enterprise account and fulfill our services to you such as your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. 1Mobility may use this personal information for editorial and feedback purposes, marketing and promotional purposes, for statistical analysis and for product development. Your personal information, however, will never be sold to any company nor will it be shared with third parties, unless specifically stated otherwise in this policy or as required by law. We treat any personal information that you provide to us as highly confidential.
In addition to other specific instances described herein, 1Mobility may use information collected for the purposes that include the following:
- 1Mobility uses the generic information to perform auditing, research, and analysis in order to maintain, protect, and improve our product and services, protect the rights or property of 1Mobility or our users.
- 1Mobility, along with its partners, may promote the 1Mobility service. 1Mobility may provide certain information, such as name and e-mail address, to partners for the sole purpose of assessing the promotion effectiveness.
- 1Mobility may use your information to disclose summary information to strategic and business partners that doesn’t include name and other personally identifiable information.
- 1Mobility also may use aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns etc, to optimize the services used by 1Mobility or to negotiate with service providers who complement the 1Mobility service or assist us in business development.
Other than as provided above, 1Mobility will not disclose any of your personal information, contact, or geographic location to any other organization unless: (1) you grant 1Mobility explicit, and specific, prior permission; (2) we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable agreements, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of 1Mobility, its users or the public as required or permitted by law; (3)If 1Mobility is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.
Tracking and Geo-Location Information
1Mobility may collect and/or track certain information that is derived from your usage of the 1Mobility Console such as usage patterns, login history and Web site page views, and traffic patterns.
When you access the 1Mobility Console, our servers automatically record information that your device sends and these server logs may include: the MAC (Media Access Controller) address; your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request; and other information regarding Internet connection activity (such as packets sent and received).
End User Considerations
Our Customer who is typically your employer or the company for whom you work as an independent contractor or consultant; may ask us to host the 1Mobility Console (Cloud Model) and in other instances our Customer hosts (On-premise) the 1Mobility Console. When 1Mobility hosts the 1Mobility Console, we may collect and/or track certain information that is derived from your usage of the mobile device and may perform other functions. From this console, the administrator can perform partial or complete wipe of data on your device, including restoring the device to its factory settings. The information collected and tracked by the 1Mobility Console depends upon the system configurations chosen by our Customer. While the following are not required, such information may include, where enabled by the Customer:
- Device identifier and device username
- Status of the mobile device SIM card
- MAC addresses and device serial numbers
- Phone number, signal strength, cell tower, carrier, IMEI, and other WWAN attributes
- Transaction history regarding SMS, email and phone calls, excluding the content of messages and calls.
- Tracking of applications loaded on the device (excluding App Data)
- Real-time GPS location tracking
- Mobile device remote control, including screen capture.
The “Agent” on the mobile device runs in the background. Individuals are notified that these functions may occur, but may not be aware when these functions are occurring in real time. This information is all made available to our Customer via the 1Mobility Console for our Customer’s use in accordance with its own business uses. Some of the information 1Mobility collects allows us to perform our support requirements.
Use of Information Collected.
Other than as provided above, 1Mobility will not disclose any of your personal information—contact, financial, bill history, or geographic location—to any other organization unless: (1) you give 1Mobility explicit, and specific, prior permission; (2) we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable license terms, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of 1Mobility, its users or the public as required or permitted by law; (4) you make an inquiry, request or complaint that requires follow-up and we share your information with others to satisfy your inquiry; and/or (5) if 1Mobility is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
1Mobility will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Customer for as long as needed to provide services to our Customer. 1Mobility will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
General Considerations Applicable to Customers and End Users.
End User’s devices send data to and from the mobile device and such data could result in additional carrier or service provider charges to the Individual. 1Mobility disclaims any liability for and is not responsible for any carrier or internet service provider data costs or charges incurred by any customer or end user connection with usage of the 1Mobility products.
Email Address and Email Content
We will respond to all requests for access within 30 days.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you do not wish to receive our newsletter you may follow the unsubscribe instructions contained in each of the emails you receive.
Your account information is kept confidential and secure via a unique username and password that is selected by you. 1Mobility stores the passwords in the encrypted format and always communicates over secure socket layer technology (SSL).
It is individual’s responsibility to keep your username and password secure. If your computer or other device is accessible to or by others, you should log out of the 1Mobility services whenever you leave your computer or other device. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
